Favor Delivery
The Rundown

--

Alcohol deliveries are back — and now 100% contactless!

Favor is now offering contactless beer and wine delivery from H-E-B, Central Market, Circle K, Joe V’s and select restaurants! Here’s how it works.

For these Favors, you’ll see Remote ID Verification Required at the top of the screen. This lets you know that you will need to check the customer’s ID through the Runner app. Please do not check customer IDs in person.

To practice proper social distancing, all Favors should continue to be treated as Doorstep Deliveries.

Check customer ID

When you arrive at the customer’s location, you will be prompted to check the customer’s ID through the app. First, look at the customer’s photo on their ID and compare it with their selfie to make sure they match. Please do not ask to check their ID in person.

Swipe to check that the customer selfie matches their ID photo, then enter customer details.

Enter the ID details

Then, you’ll fill out the required fields using information from the photo of the ID. Tap Submit.

Confirm the Favor is deliverable

If everything looks good, tap Verify ID and drop off the items at their doorstep and text them to let them know their Favor has arrived. If the customer does not collect the order within a few minutes, text them a photo to let them know where you left the delivery.

If you believe the customer is underage, intoxicated, or unresponsive, tap Return Items and follow the instructions. And of course, you will be paid for both the delivery and return trips!

If for any reason you do not feel comfortable completing alcohol deliveries, you can turn off “Alcohol Delivery” under Settings in the Runner app.
