Welcome to the seventh installment of #RunnersofFavor, our video series that features an inside look at our Runner community!

This month’s episode features Andrew, a theater student at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi who started running more than two years (and nearly 500 Favors!) ago. He loves running for Favor because it gives him the opportunity to help out his community whenever he’s not in class or on stage.

“Favor supports my lifestyle a lot [as] a busy college student. Usually around 4–6 p.m., I’m able to hop on for an hour if I need to, but I also make sure that in between classes I am trying to run Favors because I like helping people. Especially in these COVID-19 times, people need all the help they can get.”

Running with Favor also helps him earn extra cash while earning his degree. With more free time to run since the pandemic started, he’s been able to increase his income by about $500 per week.

“Favor fits into what I’m trying to earn by helping me pay off one of the first cars that I bought. All the money I earn from Favor, I just put toward my car payments.”

Whether he’s running full time, part time, or just a Favor or two between classes and rehearsals, Andrew never misses an opportunity to deliver a great performance (and boost his earning potential).

“Be yourself, communicate, and just simply have fun. Make sure that you’re always staying in [touch] with your customer. It is true, the better you communicate, most likely, the better the tip is going to be.”
