Tips for increasing your delivery photo confirmation rate

Confirmation photos can be a helpful part of every delivery for customers to verify their order was left in the correct location.

If an order is reported missing, Favor will refer to the confirmation photo to confirm it was delivered to the correct location. If a Runner does not include a confirmation photo, there is no way to confirm receipt of the order, which can impact your delivery photo confirmation rate.

In any given time period, your delivery photo confirmation rate is defined as the number of Favors with a delivery confirmation photo out of the total number of Favors delivered. If a Runner’s delivery photo completion rate falls below the minimum rate required to remain on the Favor platform in their market, Favor may suspend the Runner’s access to the Runner app temporarily or permanently.

Here are tips for delivery photos from Favor Community Experts:

• Contactless deliveries: When completing a contactless delivery, we encourage you to place all items to the side of the customer’s door, taking care not to block the entrance to their house. When taking the photo, a good rule of thumb is to back up to a point where you can include the house or apartment numbers, the entire delivery, and any unique features of the building.

• In-person deliveries: When taking a confirmation photo for an In-person delivery, we recommend taking a photo of the dropoff location with the items visible before knocking on the door. By doing this, you can still confirm your delivery without including the customer in the photo.*

To avoid suspension or deactivation, we recommend including a delivery confirmation photo with every delivery.

*If your customer retrieves the order before you can take a confirmation photo, you can still take a picture of the front door with identifying details to provide proof that the delivery was made to the right address or apartment.
